Appointments
Appointments can be made by telephone.  Please make a separate appointment for each person.  If you find you are unable to attend please cancel as soon as possible so that the appointment can be offered to someone else

Test Results
Please contact the surgery to obtain the results of tests or x-rays. For reasons of confidentiality test results can only be given to the patient themselves or to the parent or legal guardian of children under 16 years of age.

Telephone Advice
If you require a telephone consultation with a doctor or nurse, please tell the receptionist who will arrange for the doctor or nurse to ring you on the contact details you provide.

Community Midwives

The ‘Marsden Team’ Midwifes provide our midwifery service. Their services are provided at the surgery and also include home visits and care in hospital. Mothers-to-be are given many choices relating to their care during pregnancy, i.e.:

- Type of care (midwife/shared/consultant)
- Place of delivery
- Pain relief
- Many others including screening

Community Nurses

The District Nurses specialise in assessing and providing nursing care to those who are housebound and therefore unable to attend the surgery. They give advice to patients and carers and will liaise with other agencies on your behalf. They can help with:

- Cancer/Palliative care
- Wound care

Health Visitors

Our team of Health Visitors work within the practice setting to help individuals, families and the community. They hold regular sessions at the surgery and also at the Health Centre covering:

- Child development and behaviour
- Childhood immunisations
- Public health

Attached Staff

Dietician - Our dietician holds monthly in-house clinics to help with the following:

- Anorexia
- Diabetes
- Eating disorder
- Healthy eating
